A Night Out
Last night we joined Ellen and her grandaughter Daphne at the Moonlight Diner, which is a real old fashioned diner. The big draw for Anna and Katie is that they have every single flavor of milkshake that you can think of, and they make it the real way.
Jia and Daphne just had a giggle fest. Very cute!

Dinosaur Days....
First I have to say, on the very, very long video we could not get Jia to talk, usually she is telling stories, singing, asking "why" and generally driving everyone crazy......
Here are some pictures of the making of the dinosaur diorama which of course turned into a family project. We made sure that Jia had a huge part in making it because as teachers Drew and I know when a project is completely made by parents. We are also going to attach the pictures of Jia working onto the project so her teacher knows she did do a lot of work.
Meanwhile, Anna, Katie and I figured we may start a business making dioramas for lazy children and charging them for it (just kidding of course)

Soccer Awards Ceremony
Anna and Jia were both honored at the City of Pembroke Pines Soccer Closing ceremony yesterday. All the teams parade around the field and recieve a trophy from the mayor. Anna's team got a larger trophy as they were division champs for their age group. Katie is MIA because she was babysitting the boys across the street.

Mothers Day Pt 1
Jia came home from school today all excited. Her school partners with Publix, they sell the kids little undecorated cakes and then they decorate them at school for Mothers Day. She was very proud of herself!
Next we will be starting the dreaded dinosaur diorama. You would think we had enough stuff in the craft closet for them to build a small army of projects, but every single time a project is due it seems to cost me exactly $30.
Katie is busy studying for her Advanced Placement Human Geography Exam which takes place next Friday the 15th. If she passes the exam she gets a college credit. Even if she doesn't pass it her grade is an A which is worth 6 points so her GPA will bump up.
Anna is on hiatus from soccer, but the school team will be having tryouts and summer fundraisers. Anna is also very excited as their yearbooks have arrived. They have not been distributed yet as Anna and her classmates have to check each and every book to make sure there are no errors.
Almost forgot, Jia's end of the year show is tomorrow morning. I will have some pics of that. We also have our last parent conference...
Sorry if this is jumbled, I'm jumbled too 8-) xoxxo
