Just when I said the big girls weren't sending me things I got a bunch of pics from Katie of her dorm room.  Anyone who knows Katie is not surprised that she is not in any of the pictures-but her clothes are.

First Week of 3rd Grade Over and Done!

Jia has been loving 3rd grade.  Funding is back so she has Music, Art, Computers and PE again. We are in the Cone of Error for Hurricane Issac, nothing to worry about.  Worse case we will be on the edge of a Category One Hurricane. Can't get pictures from the big girls but I'm trying.  Things are going great for both of them.  God is good!

First Day All The Way!

Today was the first day for everyone including Jia and Drew.  Anna doesn't have a class until after 12:00 ( I taught her well!) at that time she will have U. S . History after the Civil War to present day.

We are having a hard time getting a hold of Katie,  computer problems, plus other issues, right now she is not a happy camper. Hopefully we will get her tonight and see how she and Bennyfoo are getting by.

Jia was very excited about the 3rd grade and wore an outfit that Katie bought her.  (An intereting side story-Katie and Jia can sometimes fight like cats and dogs, but when we left Katie at Stetson, little Jia cried like a baby for an hour and used a whole pack of tissues. What a surprise! )

The issues with Katie are making it hard for me to grieve in a regular way.  More about that later.  Here are some pics of Anna and her room, her roommate, Chelsea is very nice.  also some pics of Jia's first day.

There is also a small dog park.

Interesting: on the first day at Anna's school they closed Target at 10:00 and then opened it for bus loads of college kids until 12:30.  Good marketing move on their part, plus it gave the kids something to do.
